Management Team
Minola Technology was founded in 2006 by John Langan and Declan Deasy. Both John and Declan have been involved in IT and the manufacturing industry for over 20 years. Together the team have more than 50 years experience with SAP.
John Langan
John's background is in IT and consultancy, having worked with a number of multi-national companies and consultancies including Siemens, Cadbury Schweppes, Black & Decker and the Orangina Group. John was a founder member of Siemens SAP consulting group in 1994 and has worked with SAP since then. He has extensive experience in all of the SAP logistics modules, having worked as lead logistics consultant on a number of EU wide implementations.
Declan Deasy
Declan brings 30 years experience of logistics and manufacturing in the food and drink industries, working with companies such as Cow & Gate, Nutricia, Cadbury Schweppes and Coca Cola. Over this time Declan has worked in various roles in Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Distribution, Customer Service and Systems. In his time with Coca Cola, Declan was a senior manager responsible for Operations and Logistics functions in their soft drink concentrate manufacturing facility in Athy, Ireland. This entailed exporting products to over 100 countries worldwide. He brings immense practical experience of the various EU Custom & Excise regimes to the organisation. He also played a key role in the implementation of the SAP ERP system in the plant.
Robert Campbell
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Management Science degrees from University College Dublin Robert has been working in the IT industry for 30 years. His first roles were as Systems Analyst with Cahill May Roberts and later with Insight Software developing and selling business applications. Joining Precision Software as Marketing & Sales Director he spent nearly 20 years in various director positions developing, marketing, and selling award-winning International Trade Logistics solutions worldwide. Robert has also served on the council of the Irish Exporters Association.
Andrew Halstead - Systems Development
A native of South Africa, Andrew has a BSC in Computer Science from Cape Town. Andrew has extensive systems design and development experience with SAP, having worked with ABAP and BW since 1995, and for a number of blue chip clients including BHP, The Home Retail Group, Cadburys, and Orangina.
Peter Mitchell - Finance
Peter has thirty years experience in oil and manufacturing industries, including working with Vickers, Rockwell International, Smith International and Steelcase Strafor. He has held several director, company secretary and pension trustee positions, and has acted as Financial Controller for several companies. Peter is a qualified accountant & a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA).He has worked for more than twelve years in the area of business consultancy, including as a SAP consultant for several large organisations. Within these roles he was actively involved in the systems implementation and support for installations in several countries, including the UK, Ireland, Holland, France, Spain and Egypt.
